Best-before date and Minimum preservation date

The best-before date is the date by which a foodstuff should be consumed, as thereafter the consumer may incur in health risks. The Minimum preservation date is the date by which the food is recommended to be eaten, after which there is no health risk, but the food has a loss of nutritional and organoleptic value.
